If you own an E39 wagon you know that the stereo sucks. So I decided the 4” nokia sub had to go and replace it with 10” Kicker solobaric. No room for a sub box you say. Psh, I have to make one to fit the limited space I have because I definitely don’t want to lose my cargo area. I made a box out of 1/4” underlayment for a starting shape and then fiberglassed it. I also made a mold from the existing panel cover so everything will align right and fit. Its a tight fit with the solobaric in there. These are the photos of the two pieces that I made after I married them together. More to come!
